Our theme is our experiences. It is an interesting theme as each one of us comes from different places and backgrounds, making our experiences completely unique. This theme was determined after a long discussion in the classroom following our teacher’s assignment. Following our teacher’s advice, we booked the multimedia room at UCC library for recording and later edited the videos using various digital tools to create diverse outcomes.

Firstly, we briefly described our experiences through text. Next, we presented the places we have visited over the years using Storymap. We then divided the recorded interview videos into batches and presented them with accompanying text explanations using Timeline. Lastly, we presented all our outcomes on a website.

This is the first time I have presented my content using digital tools through this semester’s learning, and the result surprised me. Although it is not perfect, and much of it was completed with my partners, it will be a good starting point, and I am sure there will be more progress in the future.

Reflection: I really like the presentation style of Timeline, and it does not necessarily follow chronological order, providing more possibilities. Additionally, I still do not know enough about Worldpress, and I did not learn many of its functions, which led to my website’s design being unsatisfactory. Moreover, I realized that learning Pr and Ps is essential as they are the sources of content, whereas digital tools are the structure. Only by mastering both can we improve our design further.
